Gumtree Medical Clinic is a full-service Internal Medicine Clinic with special offerings in the management of Nephrology (kidney disease), Hypertension (high blood pressure), Diabetes Mellitus, and Dyslipidemia (abnormal blood lipids). We now have offices open in Corinth and Tupelo to better serve your needs. No referral is needed but we do see patients by appointment only. We offer a local Tupelo phone number and a toll-free number for those outside the Tupelo calling area.

As an Internal Medicine physician, Dr. Hale is able to treat conditions such as diabetes, high cholesterol, and other medical problems. Also, we are available to treat simple medical problems such as coughs and colds, stomach viruses, etc. As a Nephrologist, Dr. Hale is able to treat hypertension and kidney diseases. We are here to serve all your medical needs.

With coordination through local lab and radiology facilities, we are able to offer a Hypertension Center of Excellence to better serve the hypertensive patients of this area. If you have high blood pressure that is difficult to control or you feel needs more attention, please come see us.

If you have kidney disease such as glomerulonephritis, diabetic kidney disease, hypertensive kidney disease, or other problems, we can help make sure you are treated aggressively to slow the progression of your disease. If you already have severe kidney failure or have progressive disease, we will make sure you are aware of all options available. We will also help inform you to the types of dialysis and help with your transition to dialysis when appropriate. We will also help with arrangements for consultation with a transplant center for those who desire this option.
